Founded in 1993, the ATEX group has a management team with extensive experience in nonwovens technology and specialty performance fabrics.  ATEX is a leading manufacturer of spunbond polypropylene, meltblown and composite nonwovens for a wide range of markets and applications, such as:  Medical, Face Masks, Wipes, Industrial, Hygiene, Filtration, Automotive, Housing, Agricultural, and many more.

ATEX is seeking dependable candidates for Machine Operator, Lab Tech, Production Lead Operators, and Supervisor positions.  Cross training, overtime, and internal growth opportunities available.

ATEX's production / shift processes run continuous operations 24/7/365. Shifts run on a 12 hour Continental Schedule, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm or 8:00 pm to 8:00 am, two week rotation (see below). 

Week 1 - 48 Hour Pay Period

Work-Monday, Tuesday

Off- Wednesday, Thursday 

Work-Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 2 - 36 Hour Pay Period

Off-Monday, Tuesday

Work- Wednesday, Thursday 

Off-Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Employees do not rotate between day and night shift with this schedule.   The Continental Shift allows you flexibility with your personal and family life  - you are off days during each week and every other weekend, you are off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!

• Health Benefits:  You become eligible for benefits the first of the month following 60 days of employment on ATEX’s payroll.

• Paid Time Off:  You become eligible for PTO the first of the month following 6 months of ATEX service.  

• Incentives:  Attendance and Fill-in Coverage.

• Holiday Pay:  New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Day After, Christmas Day.  You become eligible for Holiday Pay following 3 months of service.

• 401k:  Two enrollment periods per year:  January 1st and July 1st.   Company contribution:  4.5% up to 6% of you wages.  You are eligible to enroll at the first enrollment period following 3 months of employment and age 21.  Once enrolled, you are 100% vested.

• To save PTO, flexibility to swap workdays with other shift team members, within the same pay period, as long as approved by each supervisor.

• Employee Referral:  Earn up to $800.00 for employee referrals.

• ATEX buys back unused PTO at the end of each year. 

ATEX makes all efforts to promote within the company, allowing team members the opportunity to learn and grow.  All of ATEX's supervisors have been promoted from machine operator and/or lead operator positions.  

ATEX offers step positions between machine operator and supervisor positions that allow you the opportunity to continue learning.  We also offer cross training opportunities, with additional cross training pay of $1.00 per hour for time worked in cross trained departments / positions.

Starting Wage for Machine Operation / Erema Operator / Lab Tech - Continental Shift; and, Shipping & Receiving:

Base Rate  =  $18.00 per Hour

Following 90 Day Probationary Period  =  $19.00 per Hour

Night Shift Premium  =  $1.50 per Hour
